My Story
Blu Skyy Bookkeeping was born from a passion that has been building for over 30 years. What started as a career dedicated to numbers, organization, and helping businesses stay financially healthy has evolved into something deeply personal — a business built on my own terms, my own time, and my own vision.

Meet Yani
My path has never followed a straight line, and that’s exactly what has shaped the way I work today. Entrepreneurship and numbers have always been part of my life. I grew up watching my father run his home improvement business, and I wasn’t just a bystander—I was actively involved. I helped with employees, purchasing, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, which gave me an early, hands-on education in how a business truly operates. My mother also ran her own cleaning business for over 20 years while working a full-time job, and I learned firsthand from her what it means to build and sustain something through dedication and consistency. My brother shares that same entrepreneurial drive, having successfully built and operated an audio-visual company for over 20 years. In many ways, entrepreneurship has always been the family language.
From selling Avon as a young girl to working as a cashier—one of my favorite roles—to earning my accounting degree and opening my own brick-and-mortar store at 23, I have always been drawn to hard work and business building. Over the years, I’ve taken on many roles and owned multiple businesses, each one teaching me lessons that no classroom ever could. Through every success and every setback, my passion for finance, numbers, and helping others build something meaningful has remained constant.
With over 30 years of experience across different industries, I bring a perspective that goes beyond bookkeeping. I don’t just see numbers—I understand the story behind them because I’ve lived it.
